She Looks Good in Velvet was Eighteen Visions' second hit and first radio single. It was released in Australia and received airplay on Triple J, Eighteen Visions was not well known at this point so Triple J started buying previous records from Eighteen Visions and playing songs from these from time to time. This song peaked at number 69 but had a lot of criticisms that it did not even deserve to be played on the charts, yet there were still loyal metalheads that were voting for this song for various reasons. This song was one of two tracks from its album that helped keep it in print. The next single was released two months later.
