She's So Lovely is a 1997 movie directed by Nick Cassavetes, written by the late John Cassavetes. At the time of its release, special attention was paid to it due to it being considered the last movie with John Cassavetes involvement, but since that time, Gloria, based on his 1980 screenplay, has been made.
The movie stars John Travolta and Sean Penn as the respective men who bid for the affection of Maureen Murphy Quinn (Robin Wright Penn). Harry Dean Stanton costars as a friend of Sean Penn's character, and James Gandolfini plays a neighbor of Penn's.
