She's Goin' Bald

"She's Goin' Bald" is a song that appears on the 1967 Beach Boys album Smiley Smile. It is based on another song by Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks called "He Gives Speeches", one of many pieces of music left over from the aborted SMiLE project. For Smiley Smile, Wilson reworked the song with new lyrics by Mike Love. The song includes many unusual effects, including the sped-up group vocals.
