"She's Always a Woman" is a song from Billy Joel's 1977 album The Stranger. It is a love song about a modern woman, who he falls in love with for her flaws as well as her perfection. The single peaked at #17 in the US and #53 in the UK.
In the National Geographic Channel Documentary "Inside 9-11", a polyphonic version of Billy Joel's "She's Always a Woman" can be heard playing in the background of a scene shot inside the wrecked Austin J. Tobin Plaza. A FOX 5 NYC Reporter recalled the oddness of music still being broadcasted through the loudspeakers even as the building was being evacuated. Many claim it was the last song that played in the Loudspeakers of the World Trade Center Austin J. Tobin Plaza.
