Execution of Sheikh Fazlollah Noori in Toopkhaneh, Tehran, on Saturday 31 July 1909 (9 Moharram 1327 AH). Fazlollah Noori, a cleric, had supported the coup d'état of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar in 1908 and was therefore considered a traitor by the constitutional revolutionaries.
