Hi Shaun. It's great that you added some references but you went overboard in one way. You can't quote large blocks of text without infringing the copyright of the authors. What is meant by references, is to provide sources which substantiate the material written in the article. If you'd like to see the way references are used, examples can be found in articles listed as featured articles. Most of those have inline citations which can be daunting for newcomers, but you can also provide references in simpler fashion such as are provided in this article, for example. It would be good if you remove all the copyright infringing text. If not the article could be deleted as a wholesale copyright violation.--Fuhghettaboutit 19:27, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
- You're welcome and thanks for acting so quickly. I am posting below a welcome message; it's a template, but it contains many useful links you might find informative. The Wikipedia:Tutorial is especially useful for newcomers. The article is shaping up nicely and I'll help out where I can. Oh, one tip: when posting messages to talk pages you should sign your posts; you can do so by typing four tildes like this ~~~~ which automatically formats to your signature and a time stamp when you save.--Fuhghettaboutit 20:29, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
