[edit] Thanks

I wasn't sure how to add the template to the band page, I appreciate you doing that for me. Stupid5pin 09:29, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
On the Korn article, I wasn't trying to be a jerk I just thought that "spiritual" reasons wasn't a good explanation. I appriciate your band contributions by the way. Falconsfanboy
It was the first article I ever contributed to or started, thats why it primarily sucked. Thanks for supporting! Oh and it's always great to meet a fellow Metalhead, thanks for liking good music.Caboose is good 05:01, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No Thanks

Shatterzer0, you accused me of defacing Hank Aaron's article while in fact I was attempting to fix the vandalism. A 3 year old with down syndrome could have figured out what happened, especially since my comments as I was editing were explicit. You are a fucking moron and screw you very much for your years of help on Wikipedia 66.93.203.199 02:47, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

You're a user, not an admin, yet several times you have accused me of "Vandalism" and threatened to block me. What power have you to do so? What is the policy for dealing with users who do naught but threaten other users? I believe your behavior is exceedingly out of line, and further you continue to threaten me when a review of the history will show that I was dealing with a reversion by a previous user not marked as RVV. 66.93.203.199 03:20, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
Shatterzer0, you can be mad all you like but you messed up and I called you on it. You can be upset if you like, but speedying me while I was editing hank aaron is also against wikipedia policy. Before you ever edited the page you should have reviewed my notes to see what I was trying to acomplish, and reviewed the article before making accusations of vandalism. 66.93.203.199 22:42, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warning vandals

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Trapt, you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. -Panser Born- (talk) 10:07, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cool

Some cool edits to Metal related articles - if you need any advice or help on Wikipedia then message me as I'd like to be of assistance if needed. LuciferMorgan 03:01, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Just wondering, but is there a specific article you're working on at the moment for GA / FA? LuciferMorgan 15:18, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Ah right, that sounds alright. I reckon if you worked on some specific articles though, you could maybe notch up a few GAs. LuciferMorgan 18:32, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
To qualify as a GA, the Soilwork article needs more work. If you're willing to put the effort in, I'm more than happy to give you advice on how to do so. LuciferMorgan 12:10, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Feedback for "Soilwork"

  1. As you've noticed, all the inline citations (sources) need to be properly formatted. I did two as examples for you, and all the others need to follow this format.
  2. The article has a "Trivia" section, which isn't needed. You need to integrate any noteworthy information into the article, and whatever unecncylopaedic info is left needs to be removed.
  3. A better range of sources are needed. Rather than solely relying on Blabbermouth, try using a bunch of webzine interviews to your advantage.
  4. Introduction needs work, and needs to summarise the topic in question. Check the Slayer article for an example.
  5. The article needs a copyedit. The word "would" creeps up all too often when it doesn't need to. For example; "Soilwork would begin work on a demo entitled In Dreams We Fall into the Eternal Lake." This could be simply changed to "Soilwork began work on a demo entitled In Dreams We Fall into the Eternal Lake."

I hope all this helps. LuciferMorgan 21:10, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sonic Syndicate

The Sjunesson's are all brothers according to the official press release for their album from Nuclear Blast. LuciferMorgan 21:59, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Christian Alvestam

No problem. Yea, he sure is notable, his voice is amazing clean or growled! I'm not the greatest writer either (though my family says I should be a journalist or even review writer but I don't like the idea of being one). If you need help with anything I'll be sure to spruce it up a bit. See you around. −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 04:28, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey, sorry for the late reply I didn't realize what you said was a question until now. Yea, I should try to listen to it a bit more but imo I think the song needs a bit more growls but I'll be fine if the album has more brutal tracks. Sounds like good stuff anyway. Can't wait for it! −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 22:06, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

I knew somewhere on wikipedia there were rules for this type of situation, but forgot specifically where so I just posted the first few things i could find on capitalization. The first one does say all titles of articles should have the first word capitalized, but neither of them say anything about capitalization within the article of a band that is know for a lowercase name. That was me being sloppy, and I apologize. I did just now find at Wikipedia:WikiProject Music/MUSTARD/Capitalization that "Standard English text formatting and capitalization rules apply to the names of bands and individual artists." It then links to Wikipedia:MOSTM where it discusses what to do with a lowercase trademark (in this case a band) and uses Adidas and Craigslist as examples of trademarks with lowercase titles on wikipedia with uppercase titles. So, have we reached an agreement...? Fezmar9 (talk) 04:01, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

I didn't know it was a violation myself until recently when I was watching an edit war over a similar issue. Fezmar9 (talk) 04:51, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
