[edit] Commercial promotion
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Root of all evil do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Seraphimblade Talk to me Please review me! 02:27, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion notice
A tag has been placed on The root of all evil, Sharon G. Mijares, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Seraphimblade Talk to me Please review me! 02:29, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] A suggestion
What you may wish to do, is to put the article you wish to create on articles for creation. While in theory you don't need to do that, and it's normally used by anonymous editors who can't create pages, it's generally a good idea when you wish to create an article about yourself or something you're closely affiliated with. If the article is declined, the editor who reviews it will point out what's wrong, and you're welcome to fix that and submit it again. Recreating a deleted article multiple times is a good recipe to get blocked and have the article title salted, but as long as you're genuinely trying to fix the problems, you can resubmit to AFC as many times as you need.
