Hi there, my name is Dom and I am currently researching and writing on the legislative raids that occurred in British Columbia in 2003. I see that you are heavily editing Eric Bornman's Wikipedia page, removing links to media sources and erasing lines that are drawn from the police ITO. I am not sure why you are doing this, but according to Wik guidelines, this information is able to be included in articles. I should also note that all the information that I have gathered for the production of this page has been vetted by the lawyers at the Vancouver Sun, Victoria Times Colonist, and the Globe and Mail. I am unsure about the Tyee's policies, but I would imagine theirs is similar.
The goal of this page is to pool together the information gathered by various news agencies in relation to Mr. Bornman. Frankly, he is the most interesting of the group simply for some of the exploits that have been mentioned. If you would like to add further information regarding specific events that you might have firsthand knowledge of, then please feel free to add these. However, kindly keep you wording neutral. For example, listing Pilothouse as a "well-respected" company may be open to some doubt, or is at least an overstatement, based on the information reported by the Vancouver Sun, Globe and Mail, and Victoria Times Colonist.
Incidentally, I notice that there is an allegation of "libel" made in one of the links. This seems to be a rather strong statement given the sources for the information, moreover, even if this is libel, there are defences to libels such as the truth and the doctrine of "fair comment". The goal here is not slander anyone, only to inform the public and keep them abreast of the key players in what may be the largest scandal in BC history. Incidentally, I am a supporter of the BC Liberal Party and the Federal Liberal Party, and as such, this project is not from someone with an ideological bent. Rather, I am concerned about corruption in our political system.
Thank you,
Dom Perignon

I should have made the sources clearer in this article and the caveats more explicit, though I thought they were. If anyone wants to clarify some of the gaps in information then please do so. For example, it would be interesting to know why there is such a huge discrepancy between the Informations to Obtain, which seem to suggest Mr. Bornman was closely linked with the BC Rail aspect of the case, and the later admission by the Special Prosecutor that he was not being investigated. At least one media source has suggested that this indicates that some sort of a deal was worked out between someone, the media source suggests Bornman, and the Crown. It is unclear from the article why this suggestion is made, though it may relate back to the initial information received in the ITOs and those latter statements that "no investigation was going on in relation to Mr. Bornman". Anyways, some clarification would be useful on that matter.
And I am sure he has a good side given that he is a Liberal supporter. So feel free to fill in some of those details. Unfortunately, the papers focus exclusively on his links with the Raid.
Anyways, as for the threat that some of the statements made in earlier versions of this article could potentially be construed as Libel, all the comments made in here (and elsewhere) can be attributed back to the Victoria Times Colonist, the Vancouver Sun, the CBC, or the Tyee. Also notice that I never meant to imply that Mr. Bornman had been charged in any way. I am not sure if this is a threat, but rest assured these papers would line up to be involved defending a case like this. However, if this is what you would like, feel free to ask for my contact information, it'll save some time.
Hi there! I am not sure why you removed the information about the people's whose house was searched, please explain? Mme. Lebrun.
I removed information that was either editorial or information that was unrelated to Bornman. Sharon Rose
The links were not editorial though, they were sources...as was the information about the additional places that were searched. Looking back, it looks as if you have been erasing quite a lot of valid information from here...why is this? Mme. Lebrun
