The reason why I was right to correct all the "Free State" usages in that article was that the Free State had ceased to exist since 1937. Then it became Ireland (in Irish, Éire) or where that might be ambiguous, Irish Goverments have tended to use the term "the State" or "the Jurisdiction". --Red King (talk) 22:11, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
