[edit] AWC Collaboration of the Fortnight

[edit] What is it?

Inspired by the success of WP:ACOTF, the Award Center runs a similar fortnightly collaboration driver where editors can get together and improve articles while earning barnstars.

[edit] How does it work?

Below are a list of collaborations of the fortnight. Please nominate articles that you believe should be worked on by all of AWC for at least a fortnight. Create a new section for each entry below the last one posted (at the bottom of the list). If we ever run out of candidates, an article that currently is sponsored on AWC, the Bounty Board will be chosen. There will be no voting, as the bureaucracy is unnecessary. Just nominate and it will be selected based on when it was nominated (chronologically). For work done through the Collaboration of the Fortnight, sign your name under the current collaboration before you start work on the article. Barnstars will be, of course, awarded for work. Enjoy! --Sharkface217

[edit] This Fortnight's Project

This week's collaboration is:

[edit] Brian Stewart

What do you think? If it isn't improved, I'm going to AfD it. Page should probably be a disambig. Also, greyish and grayish don't have pages. User:Enigmaman Really 23:19, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Signup List:

  • I suppose I should sign up because it was my suggestion in the first place. I actually lean more towards deletion, but an effort should always be made to save articles before deleting them. Enigma message 22:26, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
  • Hmmm... possible BLP1E issues but I think it may be able to be saved although many of the possible sources are hidden behind $2.95 fees. I'll try to do what I can. EJF (talk) 19:23, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Future Projects

Below is the list for future Award Center Collaborations (of the Fortnight). Just add to the bottom for a page you wish to see improved.

[edit] Human Genetic Engineering

A pity that such an important topic go unimproved.  Marlith (Talk)  03:06, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sid Luckman

I am personally interested in improving this article and possibly getting it up to GA level. I would like to find another editor to collaborate with on this. Enigma message 03:36, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Larry Jennings

I started to work on this article as an AWC task, and cleaned it up big (see edit history). I guess I completed the task, as I received a barnstar for my work on it. Now, I am interested in getting it to GA. I know it has a long way to go, and I am not very experienced, so I would like help from other users.--LAAFan 01:15, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
