Eric Shapiro (born December 17, 1988) also called Shap or Shapman, is a full-time student at County College of Morris. He is currently studying for a degree in Microcomputer Technical Support. He has one sibling, Brian Shapiro.

[edit] Pre-Life/Early Life
[edit] Problems
When Eric was around five years old, his parents started to see that he was becoming more aggressive than he previously was and that he was having a lot of trouble paying attention in school, so they took him to the doctors. The doctors responded by saying that Eric would need psychiatric testing before they could determine what was going on. The end result of the tests was that Eric had ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and that he needed to be put on medications in order to help him to calm down.

[edit] Demarest Elementary
Eric began attending Demarest Elementary for Kindergarten. He would make few friends during his six years at this school. Eric made the yearbook in Third Grade with the "Funniest Moment of the Year" with the time that he was coughing, but kept trying to put his retainer into his mouth before he would go get a drink of water. At the end of Fifth Grade, Eric's parents decided that it was time for the family to move out of the two-family house that they shared with Eric's mother's parents. This meant that Eric would have to leave Demarest Elementary School before his final year.
[edit] Brookdale Elementary
During Sixth Grade in Brookdale Elementary School, Eric felt like an outcast for the first time in his life because ever since he was in Kindergarten, he was constantly surrounded by the same group of people. There was only one eventful day while Eric was in Brookdale, and it was because the students from Brookdale traveled to Demarest for a "field day." Since Eric previously attended Demarest from Kindergarten until Fifth Grade, almost everybody either knew him or knew of him which allowed him to discount the feeling of being an outcast.
[edit] Middle School
Eric's First Day of Middle School was a sort of homecoming. It was the first time in over a year that he saw a lot of the Demarest students that he had left behind back in Fifth Grade. He quickly became friends with Jimmy McDermott, Scott Sawyer, and Nic Paradise (who he had known briefly while at Demarest). These people were among the first people to ever accept Eric for who he really was. Eric also really bonded with the faculty, to the point where some other students would call him a "Teacher's Pet," as well as constantly demeaning him whenever they got the chance.

Eric attended Bloomfield High School from 2004 until 2007. Before starting High School, Eric decided that he would dedicate his education to studying all aspects of Computer Science. This decision was warranted because he was always interested in computers, but wasn't sure how he could translate this passion into his life. During his freshman year, Eric was in the computer lab doing whatever he could to further his education.

Since Eric has graduated from Bloomfield High School, he spends most of his free time either doing schoolwork or playing with his dogs, Shappy (a gray toy poodle), and Rusty (a reddish/brown cockapoo). On days when Eric does not have to be in class, he is sometimes seen back at Bloomfield High School catching up with the faculty and giving advice to students.
