WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Presently Working as a Software Test Engineer in Nihal Softwares Ltd,Gurgaon.

Student | Space Client: Community Centre and Education Institutes (Universities) in USA (19 Clients) Duration: 8 Months Designation / Role: Software Test Engineer / User Training and Client Support Platform & Skills: Windows 98, XP and 2000, MS SQL 2000, MS Access 2000.

Brief: This is a US based company serving the Community Centers of USA. The whole project is consists with Educational System, Financial Bodies and Health Care centers. The whole project was divided into six modules; I am involved in two of them i.e. Financial Aid and Query Enterprise. Financial Aid module is to grant Aid amounts to the students studying in the Universities or Colleges of Community Centers. FA module includes two other sub-modules, ISIR Import (Institutional Student’s Internet Records Import) and CMDS Export (Computer Managed Data Service Export). For Financial Aids student put their information (484 records in the internet), on the basis of these information student get the Aid amounts. There were 104 Aid sources. Institutes import the information of the student from text file in module and after providing the grants; institute exports the data, again in the text file. Query Enterprise is a user driven highly interactive report tool. It consist all the reports used in the whole project i.e. 126 different reports. User selects student (unique id) and on the basis of this he/she can view 89 different reports. Billing module consists four different modules to define different fee structures and other charges. Fees are categorized by college fee and course fee. These two also categorized in to different parts, fixed fee and special fee. Designing (Interface and functional), preparation of test wares is my responsibility. I have worked on other different modules as per the company requirement or the priorities of the issues but these are the basic modules in which I was/am fully involved.

Responsibilities and contribution: a) Prepare Test cases based on client requirements & testing on the bases of test cases. b) Involved in QA and QC activities c) Document and report test results. d) Communicate with the clients & provide necessary support. e) Coordination with the Team Leaders and members. f) Perform testing such as Integration, Regression and System test. g) Bug Reporting -- Documenting bugs & reporting the bugs

2 PROJECT ON CLIENT SERVER Description:- To create a chat server using a client server hierarchy in such a way that server is available to the client when ever it tries to communicate to the server. Thus the very basic requirement is that server should already be present before we the client make any request.

3 PROJECT ON HANDWRITING RECOGNIGITION

Description:- Worked on SUN JAVA API in final year, to develop ‘JAVA’ software for ‘Hand Writing Recognition Using Neural System’ as my project.
