[edit] Random Trivia
[edit] Computers
I am a computer guru. I tend to collect computers - I usually won't turn down a system that someone's trying to throw away. This means that I have collected several more computers than many people tend to believe. I also refurbish laser printers - I currently am working on two HP LaserJet 4000s.
[edit] DEC Alpha
- I have a DEC Alpha (433MHz EV56) in storage that normally runs FreeBSD. I use this for miscellaneous purposes.
- I have a Sun Ultra 5 (440MHz UltraSPARC IIi) with Solaris 10 05/08 installed. It is running as a development server, remote access and testbed.
- I have an Opteron 1210 (dual-core 1.8GHz) system, dual booting Windows XP Professional as well as Linux.
- I have a Gateway MA3 (MX6453) notebook (AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core 1.6GHz).
