One of my primary focuses on Wikipedia is removing spam and writing tools to help others to do the same. Probably my greatest contribution to the project is Shadowbot, a bot that automatically identifies and removes links classified as spam by human editors. Here are some reasons why I might add your site to Shadowbot's blacklist:

  1. You insist on inserting the link after I remove it and warn you about external links
  2. You're making a ridiculously high amount of edits that add external links
  3. You're actually a spammer

I make mistakes. Let's try to get over it. If I've blacklisted your site accidentally, put a note on my talkpage or email me. I'm always listening for ways to improve.

However, if you're like some people and actively try to circumvent Shadowbot or refuse to stop spamming, you'll regret the day you ever set foot on Wikipedia.

No, I won't actually kill you if you're a spammer.
