I call myself Shabdiz. My main interests are Iranian classical music and Zoroastrianism. I have already contributed some articles. I am in the process of cleaning up other articles about Iranian classical music. I also maintain the Zoroastrianism portal

Shabdiz is the name of the legendary and beloved horse of Khosrau Parvez, a Sassanid king. It was Barbad, who through a song - potentially risking his life - informed the king of Shabdiz's death.

I listen to a diverse set of music. The main musical style, however, is Iranian classical music. I play the Setar and Tar.
