I'd like to note that NO trivia is important to an article, if that's how you're going to be about it.

Actually yeah, that's what I'm saying. That's why it's called "trivia," because it's trivial: "of little significance or value." WP:TRIV makes it pretty clear that, as an encyclopedia, we should "avoid trivia sections in articles." If it can't be written in some kind of body paragraph that fits within the flow of the article, then it's probably unimportant. What was added & then removed here about the parody of the "Institutionalized" lyrics in "My Chemical Imbalance" wasn't done in an encyclopedic way. If you want to write a short paragraph about Guttermouth being influenced by early 1980s punk groups like Suicidal Tendencies, and mention the lyrical parody that way, then it would sound much more professional and encyclopedic. It's also not necessary use block quotes of both song lyrics to illustrate this, and that shouldn't be done without a citation anyway because lyrics are copyrighted. I took it out because I didn't have time to come up with a good paragraph that incorporated the same info. I'll take another look at it later, but there's no need to get indignant about it. --IllaZilla 02:47, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
