[edit] As

As a 4th year Biomedical Engineering Student at the University of Virginia both my senior thesis and capstone project are in the area of sharps waste management. Myself and three other Biomedical Engineering students are working towards the design of a needle removing device tailored to developing countries. This issue was presented to us by the Center for Health Care Worker Safety. While several entries speak of sharps waste, non have adressed it specifically. Here I've attempted to apply knowledge gained in this area to provide an appropriate introduction to the topic. Sej7d 22:14, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
