[edit] What the..?
The Jeremiah Sullivan that this links to died in the 1870's. Also, someone needs to research this a little better. I remember watching Ron & Val Taylor test the shark suit that they developed in the early to mid seventies on TV, and then a few years later watching some septic doing the same tests on the same suit (with most of the same commentary) that he supposedly had invented. Yep the US patent is in Jeremiah Sullivan's name (application lodged 1980), but that doesn't mean he invented it.LowKey (talk) 02:36, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- I just checked the Ron & Valerie Taylor article. According to that, Ron devised the shark suit in 1967, and it was built (by whom?) and tested by Valerie in 1979. So maybe Jeremiah Sullivan (the latter) did build the first one, but Ron Taylor should still get the credit for inventing it.LowKey (talk) 02:40, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Alternative uses
Is a shark suit full-body armour? Would it be useful for avoiding hazardous substances? Would it save me from a Zombie attack? Tar7arus 17:21, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
