Do misogynistic urban legends and frat boy rumors really deserve a entry in Wikipedia?

I'm surprised by that response. I've been thinking whether this article should be tagged for deletion. It relies heavily on Davis (and Cole) as source/s. Hardly the most accurate sources to use when referencing Led Zeppelin. Take out the quotes and you have a very anaemic looking stub. The band has never confirmed it, so we're left with a dubious "witness" account of what happened. MegX (talk) 23:29, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
"the band has never confirmed it"...and the girl obviously never has. It is a fairly (in)famous incident though - part of Zeppelin lore. "No one disputes that the event took place" sounds off to me.. adding, "but neither have the band members nor the woman in question confirmed it" or something along those lines might clarify things. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sinderbloog (talkcontribs) 18:02, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
