[edit] Birth Date
Ok, so I was talking with Shariann about this article at Readercon this weekend, and she pointed out to me that the year of birth was really wrong. Not, btw, just a little wrong; while we're not close friends, I've known her socially for about 15 years, and all I can really assure you of is she's not 53 (she intentionally does not publish her birth year, and doesn't know where the 1954 came from; I know people who were at college with her, and they're all about 12-14 years younger, and she's in that range). While I know this is skating close to OR, I took a look around, and found that every site that was quoting that year seems to have gotten it from us, and I can't find any 'official' site (ie, a publisher, cv, interview) that mentions 1954, or any birth year at all. --Thespian 08:55, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
