[edit] Sin The's life story
I think that since this article is about Shaolin-Do, the notes about Sin The's chances to study in Berlin and anything else not directly related to Shaolin-Do itself should be left out of the page. It would be better to discuss the differences/similarities of Shaolin-Do with "pure" Shaolin as well as its similarities with other martial arts(if one has studied other martial arts they surely are aware of the similarities of them all). These differences/similarities might include katas/forms, common nomenclature, uniform, etc. such as the Ipon Kumite which it shares in common with Okinawan Karate Ehrichweiss 14:52, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- Both the differences and similarities between Shaolin-Do and mainstream Shaolin and Okinawan Karate and Sin The's history are valid subjects for an article. The history of Shaolin-Do is a worthy subject for the article on the subject, and Sin The's personal history is a major part of that as the founder of the art, and the point of mentioning he was considering studying in Berlin is how he ended up teaching in the United States is fairly important to the overall history of Shaolin-Do. If we tried to fork it off into a separate article on Sin The, it would probably end up merged back into Shaolin-Do since that is pretty much the only thing Sin The is notable for. --Wingsandsword 17:29, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
