[edit] She was not assinged to the infirmary

As a member of the Class of 1999, I was there first hand and she was not assigned to infirmary for housing. She was assigned her own room in 3rd Batallion, India Company. There was a CCTV camera set up monitoring the door.

Military indoctrination started at 8am on a Monday morning. Shannon Faulkner quit at lunch time the same day. She spent the rest of the week in the infirmary not particpating in any military activities. She left for good that Friday.

Shannon Faulkner appeard to be a glory seeking half-arse oppertunist in her attempt to enter The Citadel. She was not physically prepared to follow through and in turn was not taken seriously. It really irritated me that she bitched and moaned about how she was treated ..The question I'd like to know is what did she expect and why didn't she prepare herself better. It would have been awesome had she graduated.When this was going on I was in college in South Carolina and followed this story closely.
