Is he a professional surfer or a competitive surfer? RJFJR 21:07, 9 December 2006(UTC)

I don't believe he is officially a competitive surfer since retiring from the WCT, and I could not find information on any competitions he has entered (if there are any) since leaving the WCT. However, he may still be considered a professional given his affiliation with Billabong. This relationship could probably be explained more. Mikeg1179 13:42, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
