[edit] should it be pe'er?

Seeing how it's in Hebrew, I don't know if there are guidelines for the translation of the name to English. Wouldn't it be more appropriate for it to be called Shahar Peer and have an explanation of how it's pronounced (IPA)? An example you could compare this to would be the Haaretz article which should actually be pronounce Ha'aretz. Yonatanh 13:43, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

I was confused by the spelling "Peer," which matches a monosyllabic English word, Unlike "Haaretz," which would be pronounced closely enough, even without an apostrophe to mark the syllable break. I say keep it as "Pe'er". Alansohn 03:23, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
