[edit] The Witness of Bhatto Kalan

I know about the native village of Bhutto family in India. Many people who use to go abroad or far away from their own native village uses the village name as their last name. There are many examples of such use of last name driven from native village. So Bhatto family also used the name of their native village as their last name. But soon after Bhatto family became political star in Sindh. A flux of multitude migrated from India to Pakistan. However, local people gave them different despised names like as Panahgeer. When political star family saw that they would be fallen in same category of Panahgeer. They changed spelling of Bhatto to Bhutto. A ready-made terminology was introduced to Sindhi people that Bhutto is actually driven from Bhutta. Yes Bhutta is really one of the native cast living in Punjab province. But Question is this is there only one Bhutta family came from Punjab who called themselves Bhutto? And is he only Sir. Shahnawaz as the first Bhutta person who came in Sindh? If you see Bhutto history in Sindh it start from Sir. Shahnamwaz Bhutto to Fatima Bhutto. THe lape of time between Sir. Shahnawaz Bhutto to Fatima Bhutto might be less then 100 years. Does it means that Bhutto tribe came into existence within 100 years only? It is obviously wrong. It can be right only in one condition that Bhutto is not a tribe but it is newly adopted last name by some family. So Bhutto family used as same.

[edit] Identity of father?

The article identifies Shah Nawaz Bhutto's father as Khuda Bux. However, this poorly-worded and unclear text, which I have removed from the article but reproduced below, identifies his father as Sardar Murtaza Bhutto, grandson of Khuda Bux (making Shah Nawaz Bhutto the great-grandson of Khuda Bux).

Which of these accounts is true?

Name of the Sir Shah Nawaz's father was Sardar Murtaza Bhutto, in whose name a house in Larkana named Al-Murtaza was built. Sardar Murtaza Bhutto was grandson of Khuda Bux Bhutto who owned all the lands of village Garhi Khuda Bux. Khuda Bux's elder brother was Peer Bux, in whose name is village called Garhi Peer Bux. Peer Bux was the great-grand-father of Sardar Mumtaz Bhutto, talented cousin of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

Sir. Shahnawaz Bhutto was the son of Khuda Bux Bhutto. But you insurted Sardar Murtza Bhuttu wrongfully.Prior to give any judgment try to confirm otherwise one misguided person may misguide others. For your kind information see family tree of Bhutto at the website of Balawal Bhutto. GRRE (talk) 15:24, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
I didn't insert anything; I removed one of two contradictory statements and reproduced it below. I may well have removed the wrong one, but I didn't insert anything. --Saforrest (talk) 00:31, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
