Shawty Redd (born Demetrius Stewart) is an Atlanta-based record producer, rapper, and songwriter. He is the CEO of his own record imprint, "Beat Bangers".

Shawty Redd's interest in music began when he was a kid playing the drums and keyboard at his church on Sundays. Then began to enter talent shows where his passion for music continued to flourish. It was then that he got a job with a production company toting speakers and equipment for artist like the YoungBloodz and Raheem The Dream. He then began to purchase drum machines and keyboards and started producing for talents in his hometown of Decatur, Georgia. He was then introduced to Drama and went to produce Left, Right, Left.
