Shawna Waldron (b. 25 January 1982) is an American actress.
From the age of four, Waldron trained as a competitive figure skater, garnering more than fifty awards in her young career. In addition, she modeled clothing for several local department stores and studied acting, dance and musical theater. By the age of ten, Shawna learned that it was the performing she loved and turned her full attention to a career as an actress.
Waldron was featured in a string of successful commercial roles before landing the part of Becky "Icebox" O'Shea, the only girl on an all-boys football team, in the movie Little Giants. Little Giants is considered her first feature film debut (the film The New Kid, in which she also acted, has never been released).
After starring in Little Giants, Waldron went on to play Michael Douglas' daughter in the movie The American President. She learned to play the trombone for this role and still plays today.
Waldron's first television role was in the pilot for CBS's "Morning Glory". She then guest-starred on the series "Malony" in which she played the dramatic role of a teen who had witnessed a murder.
Born in Los Angeles, California, she recently moved into her own apartment in the San Fernando Valley. Shawna enjoys playing paintball, horseback riding, playing the bass guitar, and painting. She's currently studying Spanish in preparation for a trip to Spain. In her new apartment she has a cat, named Vinnie Jones after the actor who plays Bullet-Tooth Tony in the movie Snatch.
Waldron was nominated for Best Performance in a TV comedy series, Supporting Young Actress category from the Twentyfirst Annual Young Artist Awards for 1998-1999. Ladies Man was also nominated for best new comedy at the People's Choice Awards (2000).
