Shawn Wayne Hatosy (December 29, 1975) is an American actor. He has appeared in the films The Faculty, In & Out, Outside Providence, John Q, and 2007's Alpha Dog, as well as the television shows as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Twilight Zone, Felicity, Six Feet Under, ER, Law & Order, Numb3rs, and My Name is Earl.

Hatosy was born in Frederick, Maryland, the son of Carol, a loan officer, and Wayne Hatosy, a graphic designer.[1] Hatosy was a singer in his own band, and graduated from Linganore High School in 1994. He auditioned for a role in the 1999 film Varsity Blues but lost it to James Van Der Beek. He also made an appearance in Wheatus's Music Video for their single A Little Respect. He became a father on June 16, 2006 to a baby boy, Jordan Cassius.

He lives in the Hollywood Hills, located in Los Angeles, CA. His middle name, Wayne, is taken from his dad. He also has an older sister.
