Shawn Goldberg

Shawn Goldberg is a Toronto-based filmmaker and actor who has Produced/Directed/Edited numerous short films, corporate videos, webseries and commercials. He has also appeared as an actor in several TV shows, movies and commercials.

His 1998 short, Someone to Love, has aired in Canada on IFC (The Independent Film Channel), Movieola The Short Film Channel, The Woman's Television Network, The Knowledge Network, The Comedy Network, as well as having screened at numerous film festivals. It recently was awarded Best Film in Round 5 of Kevin Smith's Movie Askew Film Festival, and nominated for Best Short and Best Actress at the 2006 Action on Film Festival in Los Angeles.

R.U.U. was produced with Jeremy Harris and stars frequent collaborator Stacey DePass and was awarded Best Film Round 2 Movies Askew Film Festival, Best Writing and Most Interesting Film at The Wreck-Beach International Film Festival, and the Audience Award at The Canadian Short Film Showcase. It was recently licensed by The Movie Network in Canada.

Goldberg currently works as a freelance film/video editor and is developing his next project.
