Shawn Gericke

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shawn Gericke (born August 6, 1981) was a Namibian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler.

He played cricket for Namibia at the Under 19s World Cup of 1998, making his World Cup debut against Bangladesh in Pretoria. Having been run out in his innings, the young Namibian watched the match slip through the country's fingers.

After some slightly more steady batting performances, his next opportunity to appear for the junior side occurred two years later, once again at the Under-19s World Cup, where he consistently impressed with the bat before losing out again in the competition.

His career didn't extend beyond this level, however, and he was not to appear for Namibia again.
