Freshco Da Flowa (born Shawn Conrad) is a one half of late 1980s/early 1990s rap group, Freshco & Miz. Freshco was signed to Tommy Boy records in 1989 and was label mates with Queen Latifah, De La Soul and Digital Underground. His claim to fame in Hip Hop was winning the New Music Seminar's 1989 World Championship rap contest. MC Freshco followed his competition win with the underground hits We Don't Play, Ain't U Freshco and Now Ya Know. Freshco has rapped with Jay-Z on Original Flavor's 1993 release, Many Styles. He also rapped with The Notorious B.I.G. on a DJ Enuff release and is recognized as one of rap music's most gifted lyricist.

Freshco is also known as an all around sportsman. He was the 2001 city-wide Handball champion of New York with partner Ray Lopez. He is also top level Racquetball player and Tennis player. Most of his professional life after his rap career has been spent as a post-production audio engineer for film and television. He has worked on projects such as The Matrix, Yu-Gi-Oh, South Park, HBO and many other well known products. Freshco's post audio responsibilities put him in charge of sound effects, voice recording and final mixing of sound using ProTools software.

Freshco, equally known as Shawn Conrad, does motivational speaking and heads the company Freshco Media, Inc, which produces various broadcast projects in the entertainment industry.
