Shawn Boskie

Shawn Kealoha Boskie (born March 28, 1967 in Hawthorne, Nevada) was a major league pitcher who was drafted by the Chicago Cubs, 10th overall in the 1986 amateur draft. He made his professional debut on May 20, 1990 and had a promising rookie year finishing with a 3.63 Earned Run Average in 15 games started. The rest of his eight year career was below average, posting an ERA above 5 in all but one other season. He led the league in home runs allowed by allowing 40 in 189⅓ innings pitched in 1996, 12th most all time in a single season in the majors.
