[edit] Plot
As with the first few years of the strip, the majority of the plotlines take place in Dilbert's home and are centered around him as an invidual, as opposed to later strips which de-emphasized character driven humor and served more to lampoon corporate culture. One of the over-arcing plotlines of "Shave the Whales" are Dilbert's dating frustrations, highlighted by his transformation into a frog and necessity to track down and be kissed by Princess Diana. Near the end of the book, Ratbert joins the cast.
