Shaun David Vipond (born December 25, 1988 in Hexham), is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Carlisle United in League One.
Vipond was given the squad number 24 after being named on the substitutes bench in the 5-0 defeat against Swansea City on 10 December 2006,[1] He made his Football League debut as a stoppage time substitute in the 2-0 defeat by Millwall on 10 March 2007.[2] Vipond signed a two year professional contract in May 2007 after breaking into the Brunton Park first team[3], making his first start in the league on 5 May 2007 in the 3-0 loss against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park.[4]
