Career highlights

Shaun Grigg (born 19 April 1988) is an Australian rules footballer for the AFL's Carlton Football Club. He is son of Peter Grigg, who was a champion player of Western Plains Football League team Carngham-Linton, and represented Australia in Rugby Union, playing 25 tests for the Wallabies during the 80's.

Before AFL selection, Grigg, a medium-sized midfielder, played with North Ballarat Rebels of TAC Cup. After being passed over in the 2005 AFL Draft, he was selected in the 2006 AFL National Draft in the second round by Carlton (19th pick overall).

Grigg's development in the VFL with the Northern Bullants was delayed significantly by a shoulder injury sustained early in the season. He made his AFL debut against Melbourne in Round 14.

Shaun's mum Robyn Grigg currently lives in Sebastopol and professionally competes in ice hockey at a state level.
