Shashanka Koirala

Dr. Shashanka Koirala (Nepali:डा. शशांक कोइराला) is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Nepali Congress. He is also a renowned ophthalmologist.[1] He is the son of former Nepalese Prime Minister B.P. Koirala.[2]

In the 2008 Constituent Assembly election he was elected from the Nawalparasi-1 constituency, winning 17430 votes.[3] He was the sole member of the Koirala family to get elected through the First Past the Post system.[4]
