Sharp Airlines is a regional airline headquartered in Hamilton, Victoria, Australia. Its main base is Portland Airport. [2] The airline also provides charter operations to regional Victoria. The parent company Sharp Aviation has a flight training operation base at Hamilton Airport, and a maintenance organisation base at Portland Airport.

Commencing airline operations operating the venerable Piper Chieftain, the airline has continued to grow acquiring Fairchild Metroliner aircraft to replace the Chieftains and adding Essendon Airport to the route network. As of 28th April, 2008 they commenced services from a new Adelaide Airport base of operations to Port Augusta and Mildura. There will be further growth of the Adelaide operation pending the arrival of more Metroliner aircraft bringing the total number to 5.

Sharp Airlines operates scheduled services from its Portland and Adelaide bases. [3][4] The scheduled services are operated using the airline's Metroliner 3/23 aircraft.

They also operate charter services using a mix of other aircraft in the fleet along with the Metroliners.

The Sharp Airlines fleet currently totals 9 aircraft. Note: The Cessna 172 an 182 are predominately used for flight training purposes. The Piper Seneca being used for both IFR training and charter. Also to note, only 1* Piper Seneca VH-PWQ, as the commonly known "Swamp Beast" VH-JOD has been sold to an unknown buyer from Tyabb. [5][6]
