Sharp-tailed snake

The Sharp-tailed snake is a colubrid snake that live in the western United States. The gray-brown snake averages from eight to twelve inches long. It is distinguished by it's especially sharp tail. The Sharp-tailed snake is found in the states of Oregon, Washington, and California.
Recently, extensive studies on this reptile have shown definite differences that may prove to be a new species. The maximum length is 17-18 inches, with different scaling, as well as a longer tail.
