Sharon Prabhakar

Sharon Prabhakar is an Indian pop singer, theatre personality and public speaker. She was an active singer in 1980s and 90s, with a total of seven albums to her credit. She performed the part of Evita in the musical of the same title directed by the advertisement guru Alyque Padamsee. Her new album Dilruba is set to release in August 2006. She married Alyque Padamsee but is now separated.[1] She has appeared as herself in a couple of Bollywood films apart from being playback singer for several songs. 'Papa don't preach, I am in trouble' is one of her popular numbers.
