Sharon Labchuk

Sharon Labchuk (born November 25, 1952 in Trenton, Ontario) is a politician in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island. On July 28, 2004, she ran for the Canadian House of Commons, representing the Green Party of Canada in Malpeque, but lost to Wayne Easter of the Liberal Party of Canada. Labchuk received 1,037 votes to Easter's 9,782. Sharon is also the leader of the Green Party of Prince Edward Island.

She was defeated in the district of Rustico-Emerald during the Prince Edward Island general election, 2007 running for the Green Party.
