Located in the southern parts of Tehran, Khani Abad, on the northern edge of Azadegan bypass, Dr. Shariaty college is the biggest Governmental all purpose college that offers associate's and bachelor’s degrees to women and graduate degrees to both women and men in Iran. Founded in 1983 as an undergraduate college for women, Shariaty introduced its first graduate programs in the 1990s. Since that time, Shariaty has earned a national reputation based on work in fields such as electronic, fashion, computer science, Arts, Architecture and education. We offer 20 graduate degree and certificate programs to approximately 1200 coed graduate students annually. On the undergraduate level, Shariaty offers bachelor’s degrees to approximately 600 women each year. Some of our graduate programs include Design Art, Computer Science, Fashion, Education, Electronics, Sports, Secretarial, Handicraft, and Architecture. Our goal in Dr. Shariaty college is to meet the career-oriented higher education needs of women in Tehran.
