Shariatpur Sadar (Bengali: শরিয়তপুর সদর) is an Upazila of Shariatpur District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Shariatpur Sadar is located at 23.2083° N 90.3500° E . It has 30470 units of house hold and total area 175.08 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Shariatpur Sadar has a population of 161962. Males constitute are 50.36% of the population, and females 49.64%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 74757. Shariatpur Sadar has an average literacy rate of 25.3% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
