Shapeshifter is the second major release of the indie rock band Marcy Playground. It was released on November 2, 1999.
The artwork for this release was originally to be used on the unreleased Butthole Surfers album After the Astronaut. Because of complications, the album was not released, and Marcy Playground found the artwork (by Mark Ryden) and used it for Shapeshifter.
