Shape of Despair is funeral doom metal band Shape of Despair's self-titled album. It was released in the year marking 10 years of Shape of Despair however was not released in honour of the occasion. The album features songs previously unreleased also demos of older songs and the song "Sleeping Murder" that has a "guess the lyrics" competition.

The unreleased demo entitled Alone in the Mist (recorded under the name "Raven") was recorded from January to February 1998 at Arikki studios.
