Shao yuan

Shao Yuan (English meaning: Spoon Garden) is a complex of buildings within Beijing University (Peking University) in Beijing, China. It was specifically built to house dormitories and classrooms for foreign students exclusively. The original complex consisted of 3 buildings arranged in a horseshoe fashion around a small courtyard area. This was then expanded to more surrounding buildings in subsequent years.
