Shane Anthony Tudor (born December 10, 1982 in Wolverhampton, England) is an English footballer, currently playing for Football League One side Port Vale. He is a midfielder who primarily plays in the right wing position.
[edit] Career
Tudor began his career at hometown club Wolves coming through the youth ranks before signing professional in 1999. He made just one appearance for Wolves before he joined then Football League Two side Cambridge United. Tudor spent 4 seasons at Cambridge where he performed well making nearly 150 appearance in all competitions scoring 25 goals. Unfortunately at the end of the 2004/05 season Cambridge were relegated to the Conference National despite Tudor being one of their better players. During the close season he signed for Leyton Orient on a 2 year deal to remain in the football league. His first season with the O's was a success as he scored 5 goal from his right wing position as Orient were promoted to League One. His second season in the capital saw Orient retain their League One status with Tudor the main fixture on the right wing playing 36 times and scoring twice. Towards the end of the 2006/07 campaign he informed O's boss Martin Ling that he would not be signing a new contract as he wanted to move back to his midlands roots.
On the 14 May 2007 he signed for fellow League One side Port Vale on a 2 year contract.
