Shane J. Schleger (born in Brooklyn, New York) professional poker player, now residing in Santa Monica, California. Known for online poker tournament success under the name shaniac, in live tournaments has made two World Series of Poker (WSOP) final tables as well as a World Poker Tour (WPT) final Table.[1]
Schleger has finished in fifth place (winning $132,110) in a 2005 World Series of Poker $1,000 no limit Texas hold 'em rebuy tournament. He won $230,000 in a $300 no-limit hold 'em rebuy tournament at the Commerce Casino's LA Poker Classic in 2006 and finishing fourth in July 2007 at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Bellagio Cup III, earning $232,490.
As of 2008, his total live tournament winnings exceed $990,000.[2]
