Shane Greer (born 31 December 1982) is a British Conservative political activist, commentator, blogger, and Executive Editor of Total Politics magazine.

Greer was educated at Lagan College in Northern Ireland before moving to England, where he completed a degree in law at the University of Liverpool. Subsequent to this, Greer completed a Master's degree in international law at the University of Glasgow.
In the autumn of 2006 Greer completed an internship with the Leadership Institute in Arlington, Virginia where he learnt direct mail fundraising techniques. Upon his return to the United Kingdom he was hired by the Young Britons' Foundation as its Executive Director and 18 Doughty Street Talk TV as a presenter.
In January 2008 Greer left the Young Britons' Foundation and 18 Doughty Street to join Total Politics magazine as its Executive Editor.

Greer's blog, ShaneGreer.com, is one of the most prominant conservative blogs in the United Kingdom[1]. Greer started the blog after guest blogging on Iain Dale's Diary whilst Iain Dale was on holiday in late 2007[2][3].
Greer appears regularly as a political pundit on television and radio[4], and has been featured in numerous publications including The Guardian Unlimited[5], New Statesman online[6], National Review[7], and the Washington Times[8].
