Shalrie Joseph (born May 24, 1978[1] in St. George's, Grenada) is a Grenadian soccer player, who currently plays defensive midfielder for the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer.

Joseph was born in Grenada and moved to Brooklyn, New York with his family as a teenager. He was drafted fourteenth overall in the 2002 MLS Superdraft by the Revolution out of St. John's University, but did not join the team until the 2003 season, having spent much of 2002 searching for a club overseas, and later playing for the New York Freedom of the United States third division. Upon joining the Revolution, Joseph quickly proved himself to be one of the most talented defensive midfielders in the league. In three seasons with the Revolution, Joseph has played in 51 games, starting 50, registering eight goals and ten assists. He became the Revolution captain in 2005 and was named to the MLS Best XI after the season.

Joseph is also a player for the Grenada national team, for whom he registered more than 10 caps, including playing in the Caribbean Cup and World Cup qualifiers.[2]

In August 2006 Joseph had a $1 million offer from Celtic FC but MLS rejected the offer.[3] In January 2007 a $2 million offer from Celtic FC was once again rejected by MLS.
